  • ThyssenKrupp Steel USA and ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA Announce Project Milestones for their New Facilities

    CALVERT, ALABAMA, [November 2, 2008] – On the first anniversary of groundbreaking ceremonies for their new Calvert, Alabama development, ThyssenKrupp Steel USA and ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA, today announced some key milestones in the construction of the new world class complex they are jointly building 30 miles north of Mobile. The facilities will process carbon steel and stainless steel for high-value applications by manufacturers in the NAFTA market.

    ThyssenKrupp Steel USA and ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA will present a project overview of the purchasing needs for the ThyssenKrupp plants being developed in north Mobile County, Alabama. Included in this presentation will be immediate and future needs in the areas of supplies, services and logistics. The two companies will review timelines and the procedures to register as a vendor.

    MOBILE, ALABAMA, [September 10, 2008] - ThyssenKrupp Steel USA, LLC has announced that it will be moving its operations at 1087 Downtowner Boulevard in Mobile to new project offices at the company’s construction site at 1 ThyssenKrupp Drive, P. O. Box 456, Calvert, Alabama, 36513. All Team Members of the carbon steel segment will be working at this new location beginning with the start of business on Monday, September 15, 2008.
