Site Selection Press Conference

Montgomery, Alabama. On Friday, May 11, 2007 Governor Bob Riley and ThyssenKrupp executives Mr. Peter Urban, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Steel, Dr. Michael Rademacher, Vice President of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Stainless and Mr. Bob Soulliere, President and CEO of ThyssenKrupp Steel and Stainless USA, joined together in Montgomery, Alabama, to announce the selection of Alabama as the home for Thyssenkrupp's new $3.7 billion state-of-the-art carbon and stainless steel processing facility. The Governor and ThyssenKrupp executives were joined by Alabama Congressman Jo Bonner, Mobile County Commissioner Stephen Nodine and Mobile Mayor Sam Jones to celebrate this project.

On May 11, 2007, Gov.
